Recent extensions and refurbishment have retained the character and style of the old building with thatched roof, low beams and open wood fires in the winter months.The whole property is non-smoking (bar, restaurant and bedrooms).Food is served in both the restaurant and bar throughout the week from an oriental style menu including cuisine from Beijing, Sichuan and Cantonese.
