With a number of classes having already run championships,  the 2009 racing season is now well under way.  It was encouraging to see over 100 Toppers enjoying the warm weather last week at Weymouth for their first Winter Regatta.  Talking of weather,  we are pleased to announce we are now providing tailored forecasts for our event and club sites.

Learn from the Pros
Stevie Morrison is one the UK's top sailors,  winning in many classes,  including : Cadets,  420s,  RS200s, Fireballs and Scorpions.  More recently,  with crew Ben Rhodes,  Stevie has mastered the 49er,  winning the Worlds in 2007,  progressing to representing Team GBR at the 2008 Olympics.  Top sailing journalist,  Andy Rice has been talking to Stevie to learn some of the secrets of his success,  to help SailRacer Members improve their racing.  More...

Online Entry
If you have entered an event via
the SailRacer Online Entry System in the last few weeks,  you may have noticed some of the improvements we have made,  particularly the ability to recall previous details to speed up the entry process.  For Event Organisers,  we have also implemented several  upgrades including enhancement to financial reporting to assist with the production of final event accounts.  The SailRacer Online Entry System has been a tremendous success,  processing over 7,000 entries in 2008 across a wide range of events and classes,  including Optimists to 49ers,  windsurfers to yachts etc.  The system has also been used for booking of other events,  such as training courses and socials, also for online membership renewals.  More...
