Rutland Sailing Club 12th and 13th May 2007
Arriving Friday
We would encourage you to arrive as early as possible (and ideally on Friday evening). Sometimes there is some delay on Saturday morning getting people on site, so if you can make it Friday we would advise you to do so.
We have arranged for the Club grounds to be open
until 9pm on Friday evening. So if you would like to arrive on Friday then please feel free, after that time you will be able to leave trailers/boats in the camping field opposite the club gate.
Arriving Saturday
We are expecting over 300 competitors, over 100 volunteers and about 40 RIBs so it will certainly be busy on Saturday morning please allow plenty of time to get there and to get unloaded. There will be loads of marshals and helpers around to help you arrive so hopefully it will be fairly stress free. The grounds will be open from
0730 hrs on Saturday so please arrive as early as you.
Once you get there:
-
Cars will be parked in the field opposite the club gates and boats will be parked on the grass area to the left of the gates. Please follow the instructions of the marshals as to where to park.
-
All boats/boards from must be parked in the area for your zone/home country, the dinghy park will be clearly laid out
-
Find your coach/HPM:
Please report as soon as possible after arriving to the Head Coach/High Performance Manager for your Home Country/Zone - see below for the list. They will be in the dinghy park
-
DONT FORGET to take your parental consent form with you to give to him/her
you cannot sail unless this is handed in
- Confirm your details such as crews and sail numbers
- Collect your tally numbers.
This must be done
by 0930 hrs on Saturday morning at the absolute latest.
